Glenn and Noah Korner, ages 12 and 14 respectively, started racing at the young ages of 5 and 7. They have gotten a head start on NASCAR. Their dad, Glenn Korner, has outfitted his sons with a five-car fleet of quarter midget race cars decked out in Cat yellow and black.

The boys, whose team name is Midstate Motor Sports, participate in a regular quarter midget race circuit in Meridian, Connecticut and other New England cities. Glenn races in the 9-16-year-old Junior Half and Heavy 160 divisions. Noah races in the 9-16-year-old Light 160, Light B and Light Mod divisions.

Equipped with Honda and Deco motors, the cars reach speeds of 40 to 50 miles-per-hour. The boys are suited in full-safety gear and helmets. When they aren’t racing themselves, the boys love going to NASCAR Events with their dad, rooting for Jeff Gordon and Dale JR. In 2009 the championship standings for the boy’s were Glenn finishing in 4TH place in his JR ½ and 10th in his heavy 160. Noah finished 2nd in his LT MOD and LIGHT B division, and 6th in Light 160.
